3D-Printed Bridge Project
Collaborated with a team to design, construct, and test a 3D-printed PLA bridge to maximize load capacity before failure while adhering to strict weight, size, and structural specifications. All designs and testing presented in this portfolio are my individual work. Gained hands-on experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA), optimizing designs based on testing results, analyzing material properties, and understanding deformation under load. This portfolio contains my first design (the first truss bridge, modeled after a Howe truss) and my final design used in the competition.
